Catching Up

Busy few weeks....sorry...

Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! :) I know mine was great! I'm thankful for everything in my life...my family, my health, and my friends. Oh yeah...also helped mom and dad take down a tree in front of their house. That day, I was thankful for a nice day, John to help us out, and the incredible bucket that made it much safer to take the tree down.

I got caught up on my shopping and as of today, most of my Christmas cards are out, presents are mostly wrapped, I think I have four more, and my shopping is COMPLETE! Yeah!! I'm definitely ahead of the game this year.

Advent is upon us...where has the year gone? Seems like just yesterday we were camping and I was preparing to go on vacation. Now, we have 18 days until Christmas. I'm sure most of you know that I LOVE the Christmas holiday. I always seem like I'm running around trying to get everything ready, when in reality, it shouldn't be about stuff....it should be about Him. Pastor Bucchorn said in his sermon on Wednesday that we should focus on getting ready for Him, not it. It's funny, because I said this year that I want to be ready so I can thoroughly enjoy the holiday.

So, if you're reading this, please take my advice. Take some time to enjoy yourself this holiday. Remember the true reason for the Season. :)
