Vacation was Wonderful!

So, Sarah and I got back from Texas today! It was an awesome trip. We started off in Dallas and then drove down to Houston. We had some beautiful weather.

The Minute Maid Park in Houston is working it's way up to the top of our favorite ball parks. Turner Field in Altanta (duh! hehe) and then PNC Park in Pittsburgh. It was nice that the Braves won on Saturday night, even though they lost on Friday.

We had a little bit of down time in both towns, and drove around a bit. Some of the highways go all four directions, since they make a circle around the towns. So at one point, we went North/West/South/East all on the same road. It was very confusing at times...we never knew if we were on the right road. :)

We drove down to Baytown while we were in Houston, and got to see some of the damage from Hurricane Ike. there were some spots that were still bad, but not nearly what we anticipated. A lot of billboard signs and a little bit of other sign damage, and some building damage.

We had some good bonding time....can't wait for next year!
