Well, 2009 has started and I must say that it's been all right so far. I'm praying that 2009 is better than 2008!
The year 2008 saw many things happen:
Dad turned 60 and mom, Kerri, Kelly, Sarah, and I totally got him! He was super surprised with his surprise party! There was also a little bit of wildness at the party. Can we say I never thought I would put the words "Bar dancing" in a sentence with myself...what can I say...I shouldn't have dared Kerri.
Sarah and I got to see four games, and three were games the Atlanta Braves. We had a great time in Texas where lots of crazy and fun things happened!
I turned the dreaded 3-0 in August, but had a great time on my actual birthday, did a little bit of toasting...hehehe...and then also at the surpise party that was thrown at my parents house. Thanks everyone who was involved with that.
I also lost a dear friend in May. My friend Jen's husband John was diagnosed with cancer and passed away not long after they found out. I still miss him, and I know that Jen does too. I'm here for ya, Jen.
In my Bible Study group, we have finished up to where God is speaking in Job. I can't wait to hear what God has to say to Job...Maybe this week??
As 2008 closed, I was able to look back on the year and realize that I got to spend a lot of time with my family and friends. I loved EVERY minute of it!! Love you all!!!!

Hi,
Great update and review of 2008, you had a pretty great year, despite turning 30 (which you did just great with-see I told you it isn't so bad!) and you went to 4 games, wow, I didn't realize you hit 4 of them, awesome!
I realize this is a little late, but Happy New Year to you too!!!!
Love,
Shannon
